With a teaching innovation ‘Seed grant’ from the South Australian Government, Flinders University has launched a project to create digitals books on French Scientific exploration in Australia. 

EMERGE is a unique consortium of European higher education institutions which was created in 2019. The group seeks to connect and transform the individual educational and research-based programs for the benefit of each university’s students, researchers and local communities. 

The treasurer of Bookhoof, Christine Evain, has been teaching at University Rennes 2 for almost 2 years now. The department Didactiques des Langues was valuable for the iginition of the platform Bookhoof.

The Hackathon Memory brings people together at historical sites in order to discuss, share and promote the heritage of France. Our partnership provided us with an excellent opportunity to host BookHoof events at these gatherings.

Bookdash, which is present in South Africa is the inspiration of the BookHoof association in France. We are indebted to Bookdash who provided us with the model and tools to organise our workshops.

LIDILE is a research unit which brings together research professors from 2 universities in Rennes. LIDILE is involved in research on the BookHoof events and production.

EnJeu[x] Enfance et Jeunesse is a research program run by the University of Angers whose field of study focuses on childhood and youth. It is thanks to the support of EnJeu[x] that BookHoof has had so many successful workshops. 

Jendouda University, in Tunisia, welcomed the BookHoof team for a 2-day workshop based on the theme of ‘Les 10 mots de la francophonie‘. From this was born a strong partnership aimed at the promotion of literature.

Angers TourismLab is a research unit involved in digital creative initiatives which combine tourism, places and literature. The lab is therefore interested in any initiatives that promote interest in culture and literature.

The inspiration for the BookHoof association comes from this event that was run in conjunction with students from three institutions in Nantes – Centrale Nantes, Audencia and ENSA – who were set the task of producing a children’s storybook across a three-day workshop. It was the starting point for our association.
